How To Practice Ball Position, Width of Stance and Foot Position

Whether you are a beginner, or more advanced player, you need to make sure your ball position, width of stance and foot position are perfect. I say this because these are 3 setup elements that you need to be checking constantly so you don’t do them wrong.

Keep in mind when you do your set up you are not in motion. So your set up elements should never be wrong. If they are they could be the possible cause of some of your bad shots. So by checking your setup regularly you can eliminate these things from the possible causes of your bad shots.

I like to teach 3 different ball positions, 3 widths of stance and the same foot position for all clubs. This is what I like. If you do something different then still use this set up tip to figure out a way you can practice what you do precisely so you never do it wrong.
